Who we are

Doorlook is the real estate photography service of Nooklook Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”), located at 404-2992 Glen Dr, Coquitlam, BC V3B 0V2. We operate doorlook.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

When you request a shoot or contact us: your name, email address, phone number and brokerage; the property address and size; the package, photo style and add-ons you choose; your preferred date; and anything you include in your message.

During a shoot: photographs, floor plan measurements, drone footage and video of the property.

Automatically: basic technical information such as your browser type, device, and pages visited, collected through our website statistics and security tools.

How we use your information

We use your information only to: respond to your questions; schedule and confirm your shoot; access and photograph the property; deliver your files; process payments; and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Property images

We take care not to capture personal documents, family photos or other private items in the home where we can avoid it. If you add Remove Extra Items, we edit out clutter and unwanted items before delivery. Let us know before the shoot if anything in the home should not appear in the photos.

Who we share information with

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need: our website host (IONOS), our email delivery service, our file delivery service, and our payment processor. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and similar tools

Our website uses a small number of cookies and browser storage for things like basic visitor statistics and site security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies to follow you across other websites.

How long we keep information

We keep booking requests and messages for as long as needed to respond and complete your shoot. We keep payment records for up to seven years to meet tax and legal requirements. Delivered files are kept in our archive so we can help if you lose them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

How we protect your information

Your information is stored on password-protected systems with limited access. Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it. You can also ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons. To make a request, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
